Diana Mendoza melted the hearts of the jury, which, among others, included billionaire Donald Trump Jr. and fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, with her ambition and dedication. During the interview – the main final test – Mendoza said that she dreams of becoming an interior designer and “will definitely achieve her goal.” The winner also announced that she is seriously interested in photography and advertising.
The newly proclaimed Miss Universe will be eligible for two years of free tuition at the New York Film Academy, evening gowns from Scala, and the right to participate in several promotional videos.
In addition, Mendoza no longer has to worry about her wardrobe: it will always be full thanks to prizes from YMI Jeanswear, BSC Swimwear Thailand and Nina Footwear, and to make the winner always look great, she was awarded a membership to one of the most prestigious fitness clubs Gravity Fitness.
It was not without a curiosity at the final of the competition: during the show of evening dresses, “Miss USA” Crystal Stewart stumbled and fell.
