The Ministry of Health announced the main threat to the health of Russians in quarantine

It seems that we will still not be back to the offices anytime soon. That is why experts insist that we should all follow certain rules. And not only to protect against coronavirus infection.

So the first week of quarantine in Russia has passed. To reduce the likelihood of contracting coronavirus, these days, many residents of our country have left their offices and switched to remote work.

Let’s not be cunning: many people really like to solve all matters without getting out of their favorite pajamas.

Agree, working in this mode allows you to pay more attention to your relatives and your home. Plus, you can now sleep longer than usual – you don’t have to waste time commuting to the office.

According to the chief freelance nutritionist of the Ministry of Health Viktor Tutelyan, it is the decrease in physical activity that can become the main problem for Russians during quarantine.

Previously, we spent calories at least while walking to the subway or bus stop – now all routes lead us to the refrigerator as much as possible.

That is why the specialist advises everyone who is at home to review their diet and give up about one of the snacks a day.

“In the absence of physical activity, on average, it is worth consuming 200-300 fewer calories. It is better to give up fatty, sweet, high-calorie foods, “Viktor Tutelyan told the Izvestia portal.

Also, a nutritionist advises to introduce at least the lightest sports activities into your regimen. Try yoga or fitness – especially now, many online platforms have made access to their classes free.
