History of the origin of the name Thaddeus
The origin of such an interesting name as Thaddeus has several extensive versions, since many researchers worked on this topic at once. According to the first option, the rare name took its roots from the Greek name from the Hebrew version “Theodore”, as a tracing paper, that is, in a literal translation. The name “Theodore” can be identified with the Russian Fedor. According to the second group of researchers, the name arose from the national word “praise”, which has a place in Jewish culture. But there are very, very few adherents of this theory. The opinion of a third group of people is inclined to argue that the name Thaddeus actually came from Greek culture. There is another version that makes the appearance of the name dependent on Aramaic roots: it supposedly came from Greek. It comes from the Greek Taddaios, which is the Aramaic form of Taddai.
The name day of the bearer of the name Thaddeus is celebrated twice a year: September 3 and January 11.
The meaning and characteristics of the name Thaddeus
From ancient Greek, the meaning of the name Thaddeus means “heart” or “praise.” If we start from the Jewish origin of the name, then it acquires the meaning of “gift of God.”
A boy who bears this name in childhood is characterized by a cheerful disposition, self-sufficiency and selfishness. This child will definitely not sit still, endlessly having fun, with his pampering he will look for new adventures for himself. Sitting upright is not about this child; pampering, games and jokes are his schedule for each new day. There will be plenty of complaints about such a life-loving boy, which will cause trouble for his parents. But only adults will be dissatisfied with the behavior, since Thaddeus will find a common language with his peers in no time and will never quarrel, but will feel like a leader, which will come naturally. In view of this behavior, a kind of tension in relations with parents is expected, since a lot of work will have to be done on his upbringing. Until adulthood, all his behavior will lead to dissatisfaction on the part of his parents. But the boy will not tolerate criticism and remarks addressed to him. It is also difficult for him to have good relationships with teachers at school; his temper causes “dislike” among teachers, which is why the boy will suffer.
The matured bearer of the name will remain the same adventurer, but endurance will prevail in his character, which will allow him to survive all sorts of adversity that will result from his constant search for adventure. These traits will arouse sympathy among others, because Thaddeus is easy-going and good-natured. One can only envy the number of Thaddeus’s friends, but he treats them with caution. He will not open his soul to everyone.
In terms of physical strength, Thaddeus is quite healthy. He does not pay due attention to the state of his health, but on an intuitive level he knows how to behave so that everything is in order with his body.
In matters of love, the bearer of the name is quite jealous and demanding, which will redeem his loyalty and devotion to his chosen one. Energy is useful in the household, but it doesn’t hurt to do everything beautifully and neatly. He treats children with special reverence and constantly protects them. But he is overly demanding of them, justifying this with care and investment in the future.
