History of the origin of the name Khadija
Like most Arabic names, this name is of ancient origin and means “born before the prescribed time.” The roots that formed the word were widely used by the languages of the West Semitic branch already about 2000 years ago. “Khidaj” was the name given to a fetus that was miscarried by an ungulate animal prematurely and that was not sufficiently developed in the womb. Most often, this was the name given to a premature baby camel, which was considered the standard of beauty among the Arabs, so the name sounded tender and had a connotation of admiration for a weak but beautiful child.
It is interesting that this name was given not only to sick and premature girls, but also to healthy babies, wanting to scare away evil spirits from the baby’s cradle. The name gained real popularity after the spread of Islam, thanks to the first wife of the prophet Khadija bin Khuwaylid. Despite the important role of Muhammad’s wife for the Muslim world, this name is not often found among adherents of Islam in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Meaning and characteristics of the name Khadija
The main character trait from almost birth is the ability to see the true essence of things under any covers. Khadija is difficult to deceive, but it is quite possible to convince her with reasonable arguments. Her practical mind and realistic outlook on things allow her to succeed in business and science, she is a pleasure to deal with – she is efficient and friendly, and Khadija’s cheerfulness makes working with her easy and enjoyable. The only thing that hinders the work of this hardworking bee is the inability to quickly adapt and change the field of activity. It is extremely difficult for her to put off work she has started for another, more urgent one – she is used to doing everything conscientiously, without interruption.
Khadija’s sobriety and pragmatism are balanced by the romanticism that is characteristic of women with this name. Conquering this rational and intelligent woman is not an easy task, but having fallen in love, Khadija puts her chosen one on a pedestal and is ready to do everything for his success. However, she rarely makes mistakes in choosing a spouse, so Khadija is usually happy in her family life. You should not consider her cold, although this is exactly the impression this queen can make when you first meet her – reserved with strangers, she is cheerful and open with her loved ones and close people. For her children, she becomes a gentle, caring and not too demanding mother.
Little Khadija pleases her parents with her success in her studies and rarely becomes the cause of serious grief, but we must take seriously the changes in the girl’s mood – she prefers not to talk about her problems, not wanting to upset her loved ones. A tendency toward self-analysis can lead to depression. Khadija should remember this and not try to consider herself the cause of any problems in the world around her.
Khadija loves beautiful clothes and jewelry, and is sensitive to cleanliness in the house. She follows fashion and is willing to pay dearly for outfits. However, taste and sense of proportion sometimes betray her, and her wardrobe turns out to be overflowing with expensive and bright things, many of which will never be worn.
