Spain is among the top 10 food producing countries worldwide, we hold the podium in Europe but we consume only 1% of what we produce.
During the week of September 22 to 27, a series of activities have been organized such as seminars, visits, demonstrations or show cookings and promotional actions in different Spanish cities to encourage the consumption of organic food.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Magrama) and dozens of supermarkets and restaurants in the cities of Madrid, Ciudad Real, Córdoba, Barcelona and Pamplona They celebrate these activities and promote these habits to also help boost the distribution sector.

The Organic Food Week is part of the objective of communication and dissemination of the particularities of said foods to increase the internal consumption of these products, which in an important part is destined for export.
