Laws of healthy nutrition

Currently, a significant part of the population, unfortunately, it is not prepared to accept evidence-based principles of a healthy lifestyle and nutrition. First, consider two laws that lie at the Foundation of a healthy diet. Failure to follow these laws is punished and inevitably leads to the loss of health, the development of various diseases. What are these laws? What is their essence?

The first law: assumes compliance with the energy value (caloric content) of the daily diet the daily energy consumption of a person.

Any serious deviation from the requirements of the act necessarily leads to the development of the disease: insufficient receipt with food of energy is the rapid depletion of the body, dysfunction of all systems and organs and finally to death.

Excessive consumption of energy inevitably and quickly leads to the appearance of overweight and obesity with a whole bunch of serious diseases such as cardiovascular, diabetes and again to early death. The law is harsh, but it’s the law!!! Therefore, everyone obliged to perform it. This is not very difficult: get scales that will show You Your weight; the use of mirrors will allow You to follow the shapes of Your figure and, finally, the dress size will also demonstrate to You the need to reduce or increase calorie daily diet.

It is much more difficult to comply with the requirements of the second law of nutrition science. It is much more knowledge-intensive and involves the need to ensure conformity of the chemical composition of the daily diet of a man of his physiological needs in food and minor biologically active substances.

With food, in addition to energy, the human body needs to get dozens, and possibly hundreds of food and minor biologically active compounds. Most of them in the daily diet should be in a certain ratio to each other. From these compounds the body builds its cells, organs and tissues. And minor biologically active substances that ensure the regulation of metabolic processes. Due to these properties, the food composition due to correctly composed daily diet, ensuring high physical and mental performance, enhance immunity and adaptive possibilities of the person to adverse environmental factors physical, chemical or biological nature.

Despite the fact that the science of food (nutrition science) very quickly changes and actively develops in all economically prosperous States, it, nevertheless, does not allow us scientists to answer all the questions about the relationship between nutrition and health.

For example, only during the last two decades revealed a special role of minor biologically active compounds of food in maintaining health. Obtained in this direction data has allowed scientists to approach the rationing, the daily consumption of a large number of such compounds.

Laws of healthy nutrition

We would like to remind our dear readers that the human body, with rare exceptions, almost does not stock these food and biologically active compounds. Everything entering the body of the substance was immediately used as directed. We all know that tissues and organs throughout life not for a moment cease its activity.

Their tissues are constantly updated. And therefore, essential elements we need in the full range and the required number is constantly ingested with food. Nature has taken care of us, creating a very wide range of plant and animal food.

Nutrition should be as diverse as possible. The more diverse, not monotonous set of foods in our diet, the greater the set of necessary substances for normal functioning will get our body, the more safeguards to ensure the health.

In past it was completely possible to accomplish when energy consumption was 3500 kcal/day and above. The problem was solved at the expense of large amounts of food consumed. However, in the postwar years, the technological revolution has invaded human life.

As a result, human was almost entirely freed from physical labor. These changes have led to decrease of a daily human need for energy and 2400 kcal/day amount is quite sufficient. Naturally decreased and the food intake. And if this small amount is sufficient to satisfy the daily human need for energy and essential nutrients, the vitamins, microelements, biologically active substances are characterized by (20-50%) deficit.

Thereby man has to face a dilemma: to eat less in order to have a slender figure, but will form shortage of food and minor biologically active compounds. The result is a loss of health and disease. Or to eat more, but it will lead to increase of weight, obesity, cardiovascular and other diseases.

What should I do? How to go from incomprehensible chemical formulas to us so loved and clear all food and dishes. And, of course, to such of them which would be modern, answered our traditions, faiths and beliefs and at the same time, their formulation and preparation technology is fully consistent with modern scientific requirements.

This point is very important. We should not be tied to specific products, and everything that we see on the shelves. Thus, in the presence of knowledge it is possible to make scientifically sound diet.

Any recommendations should be used as a approach to their own diet.
