Volgograd confectioners made schoolchildren happy with an unusual surprise. On the Knowledge Day, all lovers of sweet and unusual gathered in the confectionery “Korzhik”, and Woman’s day invited their favorite partners to a children’s party. And together with their parents, the boys and girls prepared a record delicacy with pleasure.
September 1 is not only the beginning of the school year, but also on this day the family cafe-bakery “Korzhik” celebrated its second birthday. In honor of these pleasant events, a delicious record was set.
Where should a children’s party begin? Of course, with a bright meeting of guests. The kids were greeted by their favorite cartoon characters Barboskina. When everyone got to know each other and tasted delicious delicacies, the children began to prepare pieces of the future cake on their own. Each took a square of biscuit, and creativity began.
As the chef noted, first, the sponge cake needs to be slightly poured with syrup, and then smeared with cream so that the cake is juicy. The children tried very hard to cope with this task and, of course, during the preparation process, everyone tasted the sweet cream. It was a pleasure to look at children in the process of creation. Who knows, maybe there were future confectioners among the participants of the holiday! When each piece of the future cake was ready, it, like a mosaic, was attached to the common delicacy.
At the same time, the guys who had already coped with their task, played on the open veranda with their favorite cartoon characters, drew holiday cards right on the asphalt and took part in the drawing of prizes from the partners of the holiday. Woman’s day also presented useful books that every mother will definitely need.
It was not only delicious, but also fun!
At the end of the holiday, when the cake was ready, everyone could taste a culinary masterpiece made by common efforts. The cake turned out to be not only record large, but also very tasty! In addition, only natural products were used in the preparation, which was appreciated by all parents.
From a conversation with the management of the cafe, we realized that Korzhik does not intend to stop there. Children’s culinary master classes are regularly held in the cafe, but no records were previously set, and for the holiday it was decided to organize something unusual, and it really succeeded! The weight of the prepared cake was about 10 kg, the length was 1 meter, and the height was 20 cm.To prepare such a delicacy, the chefs used more than 35 eggs, but it was rather difficult to calculate the exact amount of products, since the cake consisted of two types of biscuit, various impregnations were used. Perhaps, in a year “Korzhik” will be able not only to surpass its own record, but even get into the Guinness Book of Records! In a word, time flew by quickly. Everyone was very pleased and happy.
