The International Olive Oil Show
Expoliva 2017, the biannual appointment arrives in the next few days, to continue seeking leadership in the national fair scene in the world of “Liquid Gold”.
During the days of May 10 to 13, the International Olive Oil Fair will receive professionals from the sector at the Jaén Fairgrounds.
At the same time, culinary and hospitality professionals will be able to attend the international event of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show.
All the players in the oil industry are summoned from the industries to the oil mills, without forgetting the distribution channels, where we can attend all the news of the olive grove sector, as well as its technification, advances and new marketing models.
This Fair is now of legal age, and after 30 years collaborating with the world of the field and food, it wants to continue growing looking for important synergies with the field of technology, research and of course with the public who love Virgin Olive Oil .
In parallel, the known as Expoliva Scientific-Technical Symposium, celebrates its XNUMXth edition with a very interesting program of presentations dedicated to the world of olive groves and news in the field of quality and product testing.
Expoliva activities and program
Throughout the days of celebration of the International Olive Oil Show, we will be able to attend a program of open tastings, to learn more about the exciting world of EVOO.
Oil Tasting Sessions Winners of the different prizes that are awarded throughout the congress, tastings with the best oils from the foreign delegations that visit the show, or those carried out by the Regulatory Councils of the different national Denominations of Origin.
The product will be accompanied by live demonstrations and show-cookings with pairings that will bring to the south of the peninsula, all the gastronomic specialties of the different Spanish producing regions that throughout the territories cultivate and produce different types of Oil.
The International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Exhibition, brings together in its exhibition space the best cast of top-quality oils and for this it already has its traditional ranking translated into Expoliva’s Quality Awards for this year’s campaign.

Companies that Spanish Designations of Origin of Oils that will be present in this VI edition of the International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Exhibition of 2017 led by those of Differentiated Quality such as those of Baena and Estepa, together with those of Priego de Córdoba, Montes de Toledo and Gata-Hurdes, Sierra Magina, Sierra del Segura….
Along with them, different national and international producing regions will bring their characteristic products to the Fair to publicize the enormous diversity that the world of Oil offers.
