“Real educational toys are not multifunctional electronic devices, but the most common crayon, plasticine or construction kit,” say child psychologists at Temple University and the University of Delaware (USA).
Unlike electronic games, which involve the only correct solution, plasticine and construction kits give the child the opportunity to try, remake, fantasize, create their own world. When playing with them, 90% of the initiative belongs to the child and only 10% is determined by the toy itself.
