Does the passage of Sinton trainings affect the personal characteristics of its participants?
Basic training — Cattell test
A study using the Cattell test showed that participants who completed the Mastery of Communication (and the following Synthon trainings) compared with a similar sample of people who did not attend Synthon trainings, on average:
- are significantly more dominant, have more inclinations and skills characteristic of leadership behavior.
- significantly more expressive (prone to emotional self-expression)
- much more practical
- significantly less anxious
- significantly less stressful
- they have more self-control
- more socially oriented
- more daring
- somewhat less sociable
- somewhat more rational
- a little more outspoken
- slightly more capable of abstract reasoning
- slightly more emotionally stable
- slightly more normal in behavior
Synthon program — Cattell test
The study using the Cattell test showed that the «Synton-program» systematically and statistically significantly generates a more pronounced activity of the social life position compared to respondents who did not attend the training, with an increase in internal comfort and the practical absence of undesirable effects within the considered personal parameters; the results of the training correspond to the stated objectives of the training.
The training itself was accompanied by a statistically significant and systematic increase in practicality (factor M), an increase in diplomacy (factor N), an increase in self-control (factor Q3), and a decrease in tension (factor Q4).
The result of the training (measured later) can be considered a statistically significant and systematic increase in dominance (factor E), a decrease in nonconformity (factor Q2), an increase in self-control (factor Q3). Statistically significant, but non-systematic changes were an increase in expressiveness (factor F), an increase in courage (factor H), an increase in practicality (factor M), a decrease in anxiety (factor O), a decrease in tension (factor Q4).
