Every parent knows that when a child begins to behave suspiciously well, you need to quickly find out what is the reason and where is the catch. Especially when it comes to going to bed. It is quite possible that the child has a new friend that you do not know about.
Lynn Farrell immediately became suspicious when her daughter went to her room after dinner without her usual whims. Mother was extremely surprised, because before going to bed was traditionally accompanied by quarrels and disputes. Lynn could not contain her curiosity and decided to look at the girl. When she slightly opened the bedroom door, she saw the following picture: under the blanket, with her nose buried in her daughter, lay a ginger kitten.
As it turned out later, the girl quietly carried the kitten into the house while her mother was busy cooking, and she borrowed the tray, bowls, food and water from other pets living with the family.
According to Lynn Farrell, her daughter has always loved animals. Recently, their family moved to a new area. When it was discovered that many street cats lived here, daughter Lynn was completely delighted. She did not pass by the animals without feeding each of them. But three cats already live at the Farrells, so the woman did not think that her daughter would want to take a kitten from the street.
“The red-haired guest spent the night at our house not for the first time. I immediately realized that there was some special connection between them and my daughter, ”the woman shares. He chose her as “his man.” So after doing some water and combing, both of them went back to bed, contented and happy.”
The next day, Lynn took Pumpkin Jr. (from the English. Pumpkin – “pumpkin”) to the veterinarian, where he was given the necessary vaccinations. And then it turned out that the kitten has an owner: it turned out to be a man who lives across the street. With his permission, the cat now visits the girl every day and sometimes even stays with her overnight.
“He’s so cute and purrs all the time,” says Lynn. – He considers his daughter’s room his possessions and does not let our other pets go there. It seems we now have a fourth cat.”
It seems to us that we know our children well, understand their habits and affections, but they still manage to surprise us.
Sometimes it is children who show their parents by their example: life is more than rules. And real friends should be appreciated and not let go. Especially if they are red, purr loudly and are not averse to protecting your territory from the intrusion of uninvited guests.
