The girl lost 62 kilograms thanks to the application on the smartphone

Now the Australian woman is raising money for an operation to remove excess skin.

Jasmine Norman 24 years old, 140 kilograms. Sounds like a diagnosis. And this is really so – the girl’s serious health problems began when she was only 11 years old. Doctors diagnosed Jasmine with hypothyroidism – a deficiency of thyroid hormones that affects metabolism. It affects badly.

“I was getting bigger and bigger, my hormones were very unstable,” Jasmine told the Daily Mail. “I wanted to go out and eat all this junk food that all teenagers love. I tried to go on a diet, but it is very difficult – when you have to avoid the food that your friends, your peers, love.

As a result, Jasmine gave up on all the diets. The girl’s self-esteem fell rapidly – just as rapidly as her weight grew. The arrow of the scales exceeded a hundred kilograms, and the girl stopped keeping track of her weight altogether. In Jasmine’s wardrobe, there were now only huge shirts, jumpers and jeans, from which she did not get out even in the summer.

And then, as if there were few problems, Jasmine had to endure a terrible shock – she was attacked by an armed robber. He took from her everything that she had with her. Fortunately, the girl herself was not seriously affected. But this incident made her look at the world in a different way.

The stress made Jasmine realize that she really wants to change her life. She simply has to do it. And you had to start with your own body – with control over it.

– I didn’t take care of myself for a very long time. It was time to end this, Jasmine decided.

The girl decided: she needed to pull herself together, take care of her health and again become who she was once, before the era of oversized jumpers. Jasmine put herself on MyFitnessPal, an app that monitored what she eats. I set a limit of 1200 calories per day. Tough, but what to do.

But not a single diet. Jasmine began to go to the gym every day, did not refuse to hike.

The first five months were hell. But Jasmine had the best motivation in the world – she met a man, Cody Hastings. Fell in love. They are now dating, by the way, a wonderful couple! But they did not meet immediately. Jasmine decided that she had to look the best possible way for the guy she liked so much. She even set a date when it should happen. And she began to work on herself with a vengeance.

The first 50 (!) Kilos “slipped” from her in the first eight months. Jasmine didn’t even remotely look like a girl who could swallow a bucket of ice cream and a packet of cookies in one sitting. Finally, the balance arrow stopped at 78 kilograms. The goal was achieved. Jasmine dropped 62 kilos.

But now she faces a new battle.

– It’s all about the skin. She sagged very much, – says Jasmine. – I can’t be proud of my body yet. Can’t wear bikinis. I must always watch what posture I am standing or sitting in – one wrong movement, and it will become clear that under my clothes there are just bags of leather hanging.

As soon as a girl sits down, her sagging belly is going to lump. Of course, it is difficult to feel sexy in this situation.

There is only one way out – the operation. Jasmine has already spent $ 8 on a skin tightening. It helped, but not enough. Need more. Now the girl has launched a collection of donations through the system crowdfunding… She wants to get rid of the ugly bag on her stomach once and for all – the only reminder of the days when she was almost twice as thick.

By the way, Jasmine did not stop there. She continues to work out in the gym – already with her boyfriend. And she watches what she eats even more closely than before: the girl was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, and now she must follow a low-carb diet.

Despite the fact that life throws up new challenges for her, Jasmine enjoys life in a new body. She does everything that she could not afford because of the enormous weight: jumping with a parachute, for example. And inspires others to change themselves.

“I wasted precious years pushing the need to take care of myself into the background. I never really believed that I could change myself, – says Jasmine. “But now I am proof that anything is possible. I could – so you can.
