The American woman, who had lost 80 kilograms, had to go to surgeons.
Kylie Merola from Florida has been overweight for as long as she can remember. And no, it’s not about hamburgers and hot dogs. At the age of 5, the girl was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (lack of thyroid hormones) and polycystic ovary syndrome. This serious illness disrupts the function of the ovaries, pancreas, and some parts of the brain.
One of the symptoms of the syndrome is “spider-like” obesity, when the bulk of adipose tissue is collected on the abdomen.
Life is not easy for teenagers, and Kylie with her figure was hard at all. Classmates constantly joked, no one wanted to be friends with the girl. By the end of school, Kylie weighed almost 150 kilograms.

“I was terrified of graduation,” she says. – After all, you had to go on stage to get a diploma. And then everyone will see that I am the biggest graduate of this school. “
Then the girl decided to do everything in her power to lose weight.
“I understood that if I leave everything as it is, then in a few years I will weigh 250 kilograms,” says Kylie.
In 2014, the girl decided to go under the surgeon’s knife – she underwent a gastric bypass, that is, it was reduced in volume. After Kylie began to eat in small portions. So the girl dropped 80 kilograms – she lost weight almost twice. However, the fat was gone, and the skin on my stomach sagged ugly.
“I was so happy when I lost weight, but I didn’t even think what my body would turn into,” Kylie admits. “It’s like they hung six packets of leather on me.”
And again I had to go to surgeons. Doctors performed tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift. As a result, the girl lost almost 20 kilograms of skin.
Kylie is now 22 years old. Not so long ago, she bought her first two-piece swimsuit. Now the girl enjoys taking selfies and posing on the beach.
