The Gastronomic Forum arrives in Gerona

The Girona Congress and Fair Center will host a new edition of the pioneering gastronomic event in Spain.

From next November 15 to 17, the Girona Gastronomic Forum 2015, maximum exponent of culinary innovation and creativity.

This is a new edition of the enogastronomic event, which was created in 1999 in the form of a gastronomic fair and congress, being the first meeting to address this highly topical issue in our days.

Whether due to the rise of the Mediterranean diet, the fame of our cooks, the importance of nutrition or the simple fact that it is fashionable, gastronomy fills pages every day of the national news and newspapers.

In this space for debate and training offered by the Gastronomic Forum, there will be an appointment prestigious culinary masters of the current scene like the Torres Brothers (Sergio and Javier), Fina Puigdevall, Quim Casellas, Carles Tejedor, Kiko Moya, Nandu Jubany and Xavier Pellicer among others, to offer and transmit to the visitor all their experience, especially the creativity that has given them their recognized fame.

Professionals who will attend the event will be able to find in it an unprecedented creative space where this year the figure of one of the Mediterranean ingredients with the greatest world fame will be praised, it is none other than the Rice, which will be present in different varieties and finishes, as well as their prestigious producers have deemed appropriate, within the restaurant space set up expressly for the occasion.

The best setting to house the latest in food and wine

Wine and gastronomy united by a nexus that goes far beyond the cultural, offering a program of activities that have made the space reserved for the highly-acclaimed Spanish wine, have its own specific room.

El Vino Forum will develop different training and exciting sessions, led by specialists Joan Gómez Pallarès, Carlos Orta and Pepe Ferrer.
