In August, we have the privilege of enjoying all the fruits that are soaked in the sun during midsummer. Enough to stock up on vitamins and antioxidants as it should to regain full health and vitality!

During the month of August, we find all the fruits of July, but also some new fruits such as plums, almonds and hazelnuts! Here is the exhaustive list of fruits to enjoy during this month:

To enjoy them, the best thing is to bite into the summer fruits to the fullest. Eat a piece of fruit at the end of each meal and if you feel hungry or want to eat something sweet: don’t deprive yourself to eat one more piece of fruit during the hot season. Rich in water, vitamins, fiber, minerals and antioxidants, fruits are healthy foods par excellence.

Remember that even people with diabetes can eat fruit because the correct sugar, fructose, does little to raise blood sugar. This gives the vast majority of fruits a very low GI. The only two exceptions for the fruits of the month of July are concerning the melon and the watermelon which will be consumed in small quantities (150 g), and always at the end of a complete meal.
