The fourth edition of the Castellón Flavors Tapas Route, in its spring edition, comes with several really interesting gastronomic proposals.
From April 23 to May 10, the good culinary practices of the participants of the event will be united with the more than sure attendance of hundreds of visitors from the city and its surroundings.
For this occasion, 42 hospitality establishments have been summoned, each of which will provide a variety of 2 creations per location, in order to expand the offer of dishes or snacks to more than 80 Tapas.
The Event is sponsored by the City Council, as well as the Provincial Council and institutional brands, Castelló Flavor Route y Castellón Mediterranean, which together with the collaboration of the media of the Castellón television and the local newspaper Mediterraneo, will disseminate the exhibition regarding its development and participation.
Quality and service are the keys for the development of the Food Fair be it a success for the visitor, local or from any other place, who spends those days in the Mediterranean city, in order to reinforce the tourist commitment promoted by the institutions of the province.
The Committee of Experts that ensures correct compliance with the rules and at the same time helps to promote the success of the event has been reinforced with two new “signings”, being formed by 8 members, Sergio Rodriguez (Mediterranean coast), Pedro Salas (Herea), Miguel Barrera (Cal Paradís), Luis Cerdá, (Castellón Wine Association), José Luis Hernández (Mercat central), Juanjo González, (Onda Cero) and critics Paco González, and Julio Cano.
The elaboration of the exquisite bites that will be made during the days of the celebration has a fixed rule that the hoteliers must strictly comply with. They should cook with native raw materials, thus reinforcing the local product and the rest of the “Flavors of Castellón”
The price of the set of Tapa with its consumption will be 3 Euros, seeking a homogeneity of the drinks and at the same time being able to taste several proposals.
Skewers, Burgers, Cannelloni, toasts and rice They are a sample of the genius that the chefs bring to the scene these days of gastronomic event.

The social purpose of the event is represented through the Educo Foundation, since part of the collection of the drinks will go to help the children of the most disadvantaged families of the Valencian Community, through the acquisition of Dining Scholarships that manages this foundation.
