San Sebastian Gastronomika 2016, celebrates its XVIII edition, from October 2 to 5 with a gastronomic journey throughout the 5 continents.
One of the most important gastronomic events in Europe, offers in this new edition of 2016, a representation of the best chefs from countries on the five continents of the world, to draw a great contemporary gastronomic atlas.
San Sebastian Gastronomika-Euskadi Basque Country is a unique congress, where tasting in real time, live and from the seat of the Kursaal Auditorium is one of the best experiences that every gastronomy lover should experience.
Three days of duration where the uninterrupted preparation will take the visitor to different times and places to know, learn and feel the gastronomic evolution that is coming.
Great masters of international gastronomy will attend the meeting, to develop all their knowledge and art around the different areas in which the congress is divided.
On a professional level, they will be present in the “Alta” area, which will be attended by chefs of great global projection; and “Off”, which will bring together other cuisines such as sauces or the grill. In the field of the general public, the areas will be decided on “popular” and “market”.
The chef to follow is a new activity that this new edition of the contest presents, with live lectures that blend into the culinary activity of each narrator.
The wine area will once again be present within the micro-site of the Wine Sessions, all accompanied by a selection of food trucks in the purest style street food, which will park in the vicinity of the Kursaal.

The capital of Donosti, closes with a great congress, San Sebastián Gastronomika, where he will share the bill with six invited countries, each of them with different gastronomic cultures of the world.
Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Japan, Turkey and Hungary will be in charge of giving color and flavor to the culinary world map that brings together the event.
