The first man infected with H7N4 avian flu

The Chinese health service announced on Wednesday that the world’s first case of human infection with the H7N4 bird flu virus was detected, the Hong Kong medical services said. An infected resident of Ciangsu Province (Jiangsu) has already recovered.

In a statement released on Wednesday evening by the Hong Kong Healthcare Center, it said that the Hong Kong services had been notified by the Mainland China Health and Family Planning Commission, the local counterpart of the Ministry of Health. The virus genes come from birds

40 percent mortality
