In the laboratory, the carcasses of the Petelinka, Prioskolye, Petrukha, Troekurovo, Miratorg, and Yasnye Zori brands were tortured. First of all, they checked for microflora: how much the meat meets the standards for the content of microbes. It turned out that it is quite consistent, there are no extra bacteria in the chickens. The next in line was the horror story that chickens are being pumped with hormones and solutions that increase the mass. The last phenomenon really exists, but not this time. No traces of injections were found on the birds.
But what happened was residual traces of antibiotics. The veterinary drug enrofloxacin was found in Troekurovo, Petelinka and Miratorg chicken. However, in acceptable quantities – unfortunately, it is impossible to do without this drug.
“Even a small residual amount of antimicrobial drugs can cause various reactions of intolerance in a person – allergies,” says Irina Arkatova, chief specialist of the expert center of the consumer union “
In addition, regular ingestion of antibiotics into the human body is addictive – drugs will no longer be as effective in fighting bacteria as we would like. Another “bonus” is the possibility of dysbiosis.
Chickens from the Petelinka and Prioskolye factories received one more comment: they were not plucked well enough. And the “Prioskolye” chickens had cuts and bruises on the skin, which should not be.
And the good news: all the chickens turned out to be less fat than the information on the label promised.
“The leanest chicken is the Troekurovo brand, with only 4,3 grams of fat per 100 grams of meat,” experts say. Good news for calorie users!
