Doctors will have great problems with making an appropriate diagnosis, because both diseases include: fever, cough, weakness, muscle aches. This is one of the reasons everyone should consider getting the flu vaccine this season. If we were vaccinated and we see a GP with symptoms of infection, he will be more likely to suspect COVID-19. And the sooner we get a diagnosis and appropriate treatment, the greater the chance of faster recovery.
– Anyone who has, for example, a fever and muscle pain, including a child, will be treated as potentially infected with coronavirus – adds the expert.
