Mikhail Zygar’s book is a must-read if: a) you live in Russia and you don’t understand what is happening to it, you will learn a lot of useful things; b) you live in Russia and think that everything is clear to you — you will understand that you are mistaken. And a few other good reasons.
C) you do not live in Russia, but you are interested in it — it will become even more interesting; d) you do not live in Russia and you are not interested in it — you will immediately become interested; e) you love the series «The Boss» and «House of Cards» — once again make sure that reality is richer than imagination, and Hollywood screenwriters are small children against the Kremlin; f) you do not like the Dozhd TV channel — Zygar is its editor-in-chief, and it will become obvious to you that the channel that the author of this book makes is simply impossible not to watch; g) you have a political position — you will find many arguments in support of it, whatever it may be; h) you do not have a political position — it will certainly appear; i) you just love good reading — the book is superbly written, which is a rarity in non-fiction… All in all, it’s a brilliant book and there aren’t enough letters of the alphabet to list the reasons why you should read it. And there is only one reason not to read it — if you don’t know how to read in principle. In this case, you will have to wait for the release of the audiobook.
