The Englishwoman made participation in the draws her job. And didn’t guess

A resident of Brighton makes money on contests and lotteries. She tells how she discovered this hobby, and shares her advice with anyone who wants to follow her example.

For more than 23 years, Di Kok has been participating in competitions: during this time she has won countless prizes in the amount of 30 rubles (in Russian equivalent), traveled around the world for free — from Brazil and New Zealand to Japan and New York, twice walked along red carpet at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

It all started in the distant 90s, when she managed to win tickets to the legendary Glastonbury Music Festival for the first time.

“At that time I was a notorious music lover, so it was not difficult for me to answer the questions of the competition. And having fulfilled one dream, I began to look closely at other pranks, — says the woman. — At that time, we sent our data and answers by mail. I usually tried to be cunning and somehow stand out: I chose the largest postcards or sometimes drew something on them. Thanks to this, I won a trip to Ireland by designing my letter in the form of a shamrock.

With the advent of the Internet, my hobby began to gain momentum. Pop-up windows constantly appeared on the monitor with contests and tips on how to increase the chances of winning. One of them said that you need to send answers in the form of poems. I began to be creative, compose rhymes and gradually win in such competitions more and more often. So I got my favorite prize — a Volkswagen Beetle car.

Other prizes won by Dee Kok include televisions, mobile phones, kitchen and bedroom furniture, cash and various coupons. Sometimes she also won items that you just can’t buy, for example, a music CD autographed by singer Kylie Minogue.

Dee left her career as a graphic designer during her pregnancy, just at the time when a lot of mommy blogs started popping up. She admits that she knew nothing about motherhood, but she knew how to win prizes. Dee Kok has her own blog with tips and tricks: she generously shares her life hacks with those who are ready to listen.

Dee Kok averages 400 contests per week. At the same time, the woman assures, she does this only when she is interested in a certain prize and if participation is free. In pay draws, she says, the chances of winning are slim.

The success of this lover of excitement is connected not only with luck. Dee Cock shares his biggest secret: «I achieve everything I want only because I put in the effort and keep a positive attitude.»

Try and make your participation in contests a system. Who knows, maybe soon a phone call will wake you up and the first thing you hear on the phone will be: “Congratulations! You have become a winner!
