The Main Pharmaceutical Inspector withdrew the drug used in the treatment of urinary tract infections from pharmacies and wholesalers. It’s about Uro-Vaxom in capsules. The ban on the sale of the drug GIF issued on Thursday, November 22.

The decision concerns the drug with the batch number: 1400245, with the expiry date: 08/2019. The manufacturer of the drug has reported a GIF of a quality defect of this drug. The protein content was found to be out of specification.

Uro-Vaxom is an adjuvant in the treatment of recurrent or chronic bacterial urinary tract infections, including cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, and urinary bladder or ureteral catheterization infections.
