When Courtney and Trevor first met, they were amazed at how much they had in common. Both dreamed of leading the simplest life possible and loved to travel. And they managed to make their dream come true.
In 2018, they bought a decommissioned military truck at an auction. Once it transported soldiers and military supplies, was very strong, reliable and could drive on any off-road. Just what the fan-traveler needs.

“He literally created a house with his own hands, which I could not even dream of. It was not easy, I often doubted that we would succeed, but it was worth trying, ”says Courtney.
Of course it was worth it! At the beginning of 2019, the couple were already rolling into the distance with their pets: the Doberman Duke and the English bulldog named Louis. They had extremely limited luggage with them: only eight things each. But that was enough.
From the inside, the truck now looks like an ordinary house, except that it is very compact: there is a kitchen with a real stove and oven, a toilet, a shower, a TV and a king-size bed. On the walls – shelves with books and flowers, on the windows – cute curtains.
In six months, they had already managed to travel around several states: there was work everywhere for them, and how many beautiful places the spouses had seen!
“Every day is an adventure. You never know where you will spend the night and what you will see when you wake up in the morning, ”said Courtney.
Of course, it is not complete without a fly in the ointment: the car has to be repaired from time to time, there are technical hiccups.
“But on the other hand, there is such peace, such peace and happiness in my soul. Now I have a completely new look at life, ”smiles Trevor.
