The Coffee arrives loaded with Solidarity

It is already the fourth consecutive year that the coffee arrives loaded with solidarity …

Each filtering bag Spanish hoteliers They will be the communication channel to make this solidarity initiative reach its customers, which seeks to contribute their grain of sand for each coffee served as a donation.

From March 1 to April 15, each coffee will contribute € 0,10 to the cause to support the humanitarian projects of Action Against Hunger.

The initiative is led by the NGO itself, and supported by the Spanish Federation of Hospitality (FEHR) Cafés Mocay and the SEUR Foundation, which for the fourth consecutive year seek to contribute funds to the cause to collaborate in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of child malnutrition.

Objective, exceed the € 58,000 generated in the previous edition, which was supported by thousands of consumers and more than 700 hotel establishments that collaborated in it.

The hospitality establishments that participate and have registered in the solidarity action, apart from contributing the donation of each drink, will have a Piggy Bank in their establishments, so that they consume or not coffee they can donate what they deem appropriate to the cause.

This action will be supported in parallel with the possibility of using technology to collaborate in the campaign through mobile phones:

  • Send an SMS to the number 28010 with the word CAFE

The participants of this separate donation modality will participate in a raffle for a batch of Pascual Quality products donated by one of the collaborators of the Solidarity Coffee.

To be able to register as a collaborating Cafeteria, you will only have to fill in the form that has been enabled for the occasion on the Café operation website that we attach here. 

For every € 40 raised, Action Against Hunger will be able to provide the necessary treatment to cure a child threatened by malnutrition.

The campaign is global and national, therefore any hospitality establishment can be part of it, bars, cafes, restaurants, etc … they are the dissemination channel so that the thousands of Spaniards who daily drink coffee away from home, support this much-needed initiative , and those who do not, are encouraged to do so.

This type of initiative has been developed in various fields and activities in the hospitality world, not only with the contribution of coffee, but also through campaigns of solidarity menus that are repeated annually, promoted under the guidance of Action Against Hunger as well.

In this way we will contribute to two very solidary goals, the action of coffee operation and the dynamism and consumption in a business that has suffered the crisis very abruptly in recent years and is beginning to raise its head… those who have endured the pull ”.
