The cat lived for two years walled up in the wall of a shopping center

All this time he was fed by a man who came to visit the unfortunate animal every day.

How it happened that the cat ended up walled up in the technical aisles of the shopping center is still unclear. Maybe he climbed himself, maybe he fell, but the red-haired fluffy did not manage to get out to freedom. In despair he clawed at the walls of his prison with his paws, meowed plaintively. But people passed by – you never know what sounds are heard in a busy shopping center.

Fortunately for the cat, we got one caring visitor to the store. He listened to the strange crying behind the wall and understood what was the matter.

Since then, he came to the mall every day, unscrewed one of the panels on the wall by the stairs, and pushed two bowls into a tiny slot, one with water and the other with food. But he could not free the cat: it was necessary to break the wall, and the owners of the shopping center refused to do it. The matter was further complicated by the fact that in South Korea, where all this happened, there is no animal welfare institute. Therefore, it was impossible to influence the administration of the store. Anyway, maybe it’s not a cat, but rats? Nobody saw the animal.

Kota was discovered by a hidden camera.

But two years later, a miracle happened: they decided to rescue the cat from captivity. According to the Daily Mail, this happened after they managed to push a night vision camera into a hole in the wall, which captured the inhabitants of the dungeons. Veterinarians and rescuers came to free the redhead: they broke the wall, pulled out not only the terrified animal, but also a whole bunch of bowls from under water and food.

The cat – yes, the beast turned out to be a girl – fought for her freedom like a tiger, but she was nevertheless swaddled, put in a carrier and sent to a veterinary clinic. True, for this the poor fellow had to be injected with a sedative. Veterinarians quickly found out that the cat, in general, is all right, only to feed a little – she was very thin.

They washed the animal, brushed its teeth, trimmed its claws – for so long, without proper care, they grew into the pads of the fingers – and handed it to the man who had been the guardian angel of the red captive all these years. He, by the way, did not hesitate for a second, happily took the pet home. Still, during these two years he really became akin to a cat, and she finally found a real home instead of a dark prison in which she spent so many days.
