Angela Tinning doted on her cat named Missy. And this despite the fact that the animal had a truly complex character.
“Missy is unfriendly. To be honest, she’s actually just mean. He does not like to sit on his hands, very rarely allows himself to be stroked. Therefore, I noticed the changes in her behavior immediately, ”says Angela.
It all started when the cat suddenly fell in love with lying on the owner’s chest. And from the same side. And in general, she walked after him as if she had been glued. Usually Missy was completely independent and showed attention to a person only if she needed something.
There seems to be nothing to worry about, it is just right to rejoice – finally, the cat has become affectionate. But Angela was somehow worried. So much so that I decided to go to the doctor. As a result of the examination, precancerous cells were found in the woman’s breast. The operation to remove them was successful, Angela breathed a sigh of relief.
“I’ve read that dogs can feel the pain of the owner. But for cats to have such a gift … I have never heard such a thing, ”says Angela.
But that was not the end of the story. Two years later, everything happened again. The cat again began to fondle the mistress, striving to lie down on the chest – and again from the same side as before. Here Angela did not hesitate for a second. The woman rushed to the doctor. They immediately sent her for a biopsy – after all, the history with precancerous cells, everything can be very bad. It turned out to be really bad, but not very much. Angela was diagnosed with breast cancer, but at a very early stage. Mastectomy, treatment … Everything ended well. Missy saved the life of her mistress for the second time.
“It’s amazing, because nothing bothered me. There was not a single sign that something was wrong. And Missy immediately felt that I was sick, ”says Angela.
Now for the woman all the troubles are over, and her cat is nominated for the title of heroic cat in the national cat award – there is such a thing in Britain. In addition, Missy received her first medal – for the sixth sense that saves lives.
