The cake is burning – what to do
 

Remember, if something goes wrong in the kitchen, the main rule is not to panic. Thanks to culinary life hacks, many dishes can be saved!

Method No. 1

So, if you notice that your pie is burning, take out a roll of plain foil. Cover the cake with foil and send back to the oven. Thanks to the foil, the dish will be baked from the inside completely, and the outer part of the pie will stop “roasting”.

Method No. 2

 

If, however, that the cake is burnt, you noticed when it’s too late to save it using the foil method, then – what can you do – take it out of the oven. When the cake has cooled, simply remove the burnt layer with a knife or grater. In this case, call on your favorite cream or icing recipe to help. Cover the cake with cream and that only you will know that it was once saved.
