The best whiskey cocktails

I present to you for consideration another Friday selection of cocktails at. Today I decided to post cocktails with my favorite alcoholic drink – whiskey. For me, whiskey blends perfectly with other components in cocktails – its spicy, sometimes smoky shade harmoniously emphasizes any taste whatsoever. I already wrote about one whiskey-based cocktail – Whiskey Sour – the perfect combination of all the main flavors of mixology, but today I’m posting whiskey cocktails combined with apple juice. This is a real tandem that does not require any additions, but, as they say, everyone has different tastes, so it does not hurt to supplement this divine drink.

Many drink whiskey only with apple juice – the tastes of these drinks coincide and complement each other. It is enough just to pour both ingredients on ice and the cocktail, in fact, is ready. I prefer to drink whiskey in its pure form, without ice, just drinking it with chilled apple juice (which, by the way, I can drink in liters). While I haven’t written about whiskey on therumdiary.ru, I’m mentally preparing myself, as this is a very extensive topic that deserves at least a dozen posts. And to brighten up your expectation, as the blog develops, I will post cocktails based on this wonderful drink 🙂

So enjoy. From simple to complex…

It’s so amazing to me. I want to jump ahead a bit and say that Irish whiskey is significantly different in taste from Scotch. This is due to the fact that the Scots use peat coal during distillation, which gives the drink a slightly smoky shade. Therefore, if Scotch whiskey is written in the ingredients, then it is worth using it – then all the rules will be followed and the cocktail will turn out the way it should be. I personally prefer Irish whiskey, because I don’t really like smoked meats, but among the representatives of the “Scots” there are also neutral drinks that do not give away this very smoked meat.

A lot of whiskey cocktails are served hot, which is quite logical – the healing properties of this drink have been known for a long time, but more on that later. Well, on this I end today’s galaxy, I wish you a pleasant pastime on the weekend. Next week I will tell you more about tequila and maybe about gin, but for now, read a few articles of the Rum Diary and be sure to subscribe to updates – there is still a lot of interesting things ahead!
