Consider the types of hair curlers. What is the difference:
In shape – there are straight, cone-shaped, spiral, volumetric (double / triple) and corrugated curling irons. They are for different results. If you need large curls, a straight model of 25 mm will do, a cone-shaped 38 mm will help to add volume at the roots, the effect of “afro-braids” will provide a corrugation, and so on. Thermostat When we take a curling iron with only 1 on / off button, how to guess what temperature it heats up to? The presence of a thermostat is important for both beginners and experienced stylists.
Tool weight. Keeping your hand on the canopy all the time is just hard and uncomfortable. Therefore, forceps should be light, as experienced hairdressers say – “immediately lie down in the hand, be its continuation.” Well, if there are pads or Soft-Touch on the handle, then the tool will not slip out.
Canvas length. Some girls believe that the longer the curling iron, the easier it is to curl their hair. This is a mistake, even for a professional stylist it is difficult to hold a tool longer than 20 cm. I recommend sticking to the size of 18 cm, while the turnover of the hand will be small. Tool case. This is a very important option for travel. At the beginning of work, I often had to wait 15-20 minutes at home for the tool to cool down, otherwise you would not put it in a bag. Therefore, I recommend curling irons complete with covers, a thermal lining is required.
