Dishwashers can make life a lot easier. Fold the dishes, turn on the device – and everything will be crystal clear. A good dishwasher can make this process easy and efficient.
The KP rating is based on a number of features that a dishwasher should have: for example, an effective cleaning function that can wash any type of dishware and sterilize bottles for small children, combining gentleness with good results.

Economical and powerful dishwasher.
Meet the Whirlpool WSIO 3O23 PFE X, a device with amazing energy efficiency (Energy Rating A++), outstanding capacity (up to 10 sets) and unparalleled cleaning performance.
One of my favorite features is PowerClean, a turbo boost program that literally sucks grease out of dishes. Plus, it’s one of the quietest machines on the market, even if it’s not hidden behind a furniture door.
The list of main functions includes an intensive program for heavily soiled dishes and an express program (quick cycle). A nice addition will be a “delicate” program for washing fragile dishes, an economical program for lightly soiled dishes and a pre-soak mode.

4. Electrolux ESF 2400
Reliable helper for a small family.
This dishwasher is made using the latest technology and looks very attractive. It has compact dimensions: 60 cm high, about 50 cm wide. About 6 sets of dishes can be placed in the washing chamber – this is enough for a small family.
The device consumes the minimum amount of electricity – its energy efficiency class is A+. One washing cycle consumes 6,5 liters of water. The machine has a sufficient number of programs, in particular, normal, intensive, delicate, express modes, as well as economy are included. If necessary, you can use the additional rinse function.
Advantages and disadvantages
5. Hansa ZWM 416 WH
A good budget option for the wallet.
This washing machine is designed to load 9 place settings at the same time. The owners have at their disposal 5 full modes, a rinse procedure and a modification of the cycles, provided that they are half loaded.
Modifying modes to include the half load option saves time, water and energy. Users report savings of up to 25%. Besides, Hansa ZWM 416 has reliable protection against leaks. In general, the device copes well with all types of dirt and has the ability to use almost any dishwashing detergent.
Advantages and disadvantages
6. Candy CDCP 6/E
Another small machine for studio apartments.
The capacity of this machine is small – only six sets of dishes fit in the chamber, but this is quite enough for a small family. But there are a decent number of operating modes: intensive wash (for dishes with serious dirt), daily wash, program for fragile items, quick wash and economical wash. In addition, a water saving mode and dirty dishes are supported. But this model does not provide a quick rinse.
Advantages and disadvantages
7. Indesit DFP 27B+96 Z
Simple dishwasher but with everything you need.
Slightly basic in style and function, the Indesit DFP 27B+96 Z wins over with its excellent cleaning performance and low running costs (Energy Class A++). After all, those are the most important factors when you think of a dishwasher, right?
It’s important to note that the Indesit DFP 27B+96 Z has everything you need to be your perfect companion: the machine is easy to load and the optional wash option allows you to remove the top basket so you can fit extra large items in it. Those with a toddler will love the baby care cycle, which is designed to remove 99,9% of bacteria: great for baby bottles, teethers and toys.
Advantages and disadvantages
8. Indesit DFG 26B1
Easy to operate and relatively low price.
Don’t really fuss about chasing the latest technology, but just want clean dishes at a low price? Then the Indesit DFG 26B1 is the dishwasher for you. The capabilities of the device can be summed up in a small list: one large central knob for selecting one of six programs, buttons for on / off, start delay and the cryptically named MyTime function, which reduces the washing time.
Simply put, the Indesit DFG26B1 does its job as a basic, easy-to-use dishwasher with good environmental performance.
Advantages and disadvantages
9. Hotpoint-Ariston HSFO 3T223 W
A narrow dishwasher that stands out for its high performance and flexibility.
Although the Hotpoint-Ariston HSFO 3T223 W is a narrow model, it does not lose the features of the company’s standard, full-size (60 cm) models. That’s why you get an economical A++ energy rating, as well as nine washing programs and options. Loading is very easy and the model itself is very functional: the top rack is height adjustable, there are foldable tines for small plates, and the bottom rack has foldable pot supports.
A key feature is the 3D jet technology that sprays water into the machine to effectively clean your dishes. A minor issue is that the dishes could be drier after touch drying. However, there is an additional feature that uses a little more energy but leaves dishes drip-free.
Advantages and disadvantages
10. Bosch SKS62E22
Compact option for a small apartment.
Bosch SKS62E22 has 6 built-in operating modes: for example, a special program for washing fragile items, as well as economical and fast modes. And the half load mode is very convenient to use with a small amount of dirty dishes.
In addition, the device has a condensation dryer. The last cycle of rinsing dishes is done with hot water, after which the dishes remain to dry inside, water in the form of condensate accumulates on the walls of the dishwasher and flows down. And the activation of the VarioSpeed mode allows you to significantly reduce the duration of any program without losing the quality of the result.
Advantages and disadvantages
11. Bosch SMS44GI00R
For large containers.
The main distinguishing feature is that the machine automatically adjusts the hardness of the water, preventing this indicator from falling below pH 5.5. During the washing process, water circulates through 5 levels – this technology provides good savings. The water flow rate and pressure are also automatically adjusted. Special sensors determine the amount of dishes in the washing chamber, after which the processor calculates the required amount of water, detergent and electricity.
Advantages and disadvantages
12. Siemens iQ100 SR615X83NR
For lovers of design technology.
The model is designed for 10 sets, and it’s not worth loving it for this – we have one of the most stylish dishwashers on the market. In addition, the clean water sensor and the load sensor provide technological washing based on the amount of dishes and the level of contamination in the water. There are 5 wash programs, a half load option, a 3, 6 and 9 hour delay timer and an automatic door closer.

What to look for when buying a dishwasher
Kitchen space
Most dishwashers are built-in models. This means that they are designed to be placed under the countertop next to your cabinets. These dishwashers are usually standard sized, but we recommend that you check the dishwasher’s dimensions and cutout space before purchasing a model.
Other dishwashers are freestanding or portable. They attach to your faucet and drain into the sink. If there is not enough space, installing an additional countertop will be an ideal option. So if you are single, this might be an acceptable compromise.
Turbidity sensor
Many dishwashers include a device called a turbidity sensor that detects food from your dishes in the wash water. These models can tell when your dishes are clean: if the water is clean, all dirt and food has been removed. These machines are preferred as they are more efficient and can wash lightly soiled dishes faster.
Noise
A noisy dishwasher can be very distracting, so look for quiet models. Most models come with a noise rating indicating the amount of sound they produced when tested. The lower this number (in decibels), the quieter they are. However, remember that dishwashers must be properly installed to be quiet, with noise reduction that covers them in place.
Capacity
It’s quite difficult to measure how many dishes a dishwasher can hold, as it depends on the type of dishes you put in the machine. Most manufacturers offer a number of kits. It indicates how many sets of dishes can fit inside. One set consists of dinner plate, dessert plate, glass, soup bowl, cup and saucer, and cutlery. A large dishwasher can hold 15 or more sets, while a compact dishwasher can hold seven or eight.
Racks
All dishwashers hold dishes with racks that slide out when loading and unloading. It is important to find out how easily these legs extend when the machine is fully loaded, as well as whether they are adjustable. With a good dishwasher, you can move the racks up and down to accommodate large dishes.
Another useful feature is the adjustable prongs that lift and hold the dishes in place. Some dishwashers have fold-out tines to make it easier to fit large dishes.
