Krabi is a province in Thailand with many amazing beaches. This is one of the centers of beach tourism. Clear water, soft sand, karst rocks, hot lakes, wild islands, the best beaches of Krabi – all this can be found by visiting one of the main tourist provinces of Thailand.
10 Phra Nang
Phra Nang called the pearl of Krabi province. According to many tourists, this is the most beautiful beach in the region. There are not many cafes, luxury hotels and a variety of entertainment. Instead – wonderful white sand, clear water and amazing views. Visiting Phra Nang, you can try your hand at rock climbing, snorkeling and visit local attractions: Phra Nang Cave and Phra Nang Shrine.
The beach attracts many visitors every day, as it is considered one of the best. However, there is enough space for everyone on Phra Nang.
9. West Railay
One of the best beaches in Krabi is called West Railey (Railey West).
This is the main beach resort of the peninsula. It is isolated from the outside world and surrounded by sheer cliffs. West Railay Beach is wide and covered with wonderful white sand. Despite its popularity, it is not crowded – there are only four hotels near the beach. The high sheer cliffs surrounding the beach do not cover it from the sun, so you can sunbathe on it at any time of the day. In the evening, before sunset, Railey West becomes a favorite place for outdoor enthusiasts. The wide sloping strip of the beach is great for playing volleyball.
Of the minuses – at low tide, the water goes very far, and it is almost impossible to swim during this period.
8. Ao Nang
One of the best beaches in Krabi Ao Nang (Ao Nan Beach). It is considered the most famous beach in the province and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. The main advantage of the beach is its accessibility. Tourists here can be offered fruits, boiled corn, all kinds of drinks and cold beer. There are many restaurants, cafes, gift shops and spas along the beach. From Ao Nang you can go by boat to one of the many local islands.
The beach looks very beautiful and cozy in the evenings. Sitting on a bench or steps leading to the embankment, you can admire the stunning sunset to your heart’s content.
Those who like a secluded holiday may not like Ao Nang beach due to its crowded nature.
7. The floor
Beach on the island Poda (Poda Island) – one of the most beautiful sights of Krabi. The island is located in shallow water, and at low tide you can go to the neighboring islands on foot right on the water. The beach with surprisingly clean white sand stretches for more than a kilometer. Not far from it is a coral reef – an ideal place for snorkeling. On the beach they sell water and juices, there are many macaroons.

Beach on the island Hong Island can safely be called one of the best in Krabi. This is a small beautiful island. By the way, the Russian comedy Jungle was filmed on it. The beach on Hong Island is a magnificent lagoon with clear, calm water. Here you can swim with a mask and snorkel, feed numerous fish that have become tame and admire giant monitor lizards.
Of the minuses: there is no infrastructure on the island, so you need to take food and drink with you.
5. The ball is Kaek
The best beaches in Krabi include Tub Kaek (Tub Kaek). It is not as beautiful as other popular Krabi beaches, but it has its own charm. The beach is surrounded by picturesque hills overgrown with greenery. Early in the morning it is cool on the coast, and on a hot afternoon you can easily find a shady place.
Tub Kaek is one of the beautiful places where wedding ceremonies are held. The beach is also famous for the fact that crabs are found in abundance here. In the heat, they become lethargic and can be touched with care, so as not to harm the fearless crustaceans.
The beach will appeal to lovers of a quiet unhurried holiday – there are few tourists here. There are secluded corners where neither vacationers nor locals wander all day.
Of the minuses: there is no rental housing near the beach, except for a few expensive hotels. The infrastructure is poorly developed.
4. Pai Plong
Included in the list of the best beaches in Krabi Pai Plong. This is a small cozy beach with the luxurious Centara Grand Hotel located nearby. It is not so popular with most vacationers. The reason is that it is not so easy to get on it. You can get to Pai Plong either by boat or by a wooden bridge along the mountain path. At the beginning of the journey, travelers are greeted by monkeys, who are attracted by the opportunity to get a treat.
Pai Plong belongs to the Centara Grand Hotel, but Thai law allows you to swim on any beach freely. Pai Plong is famous for its clean clear water and well-groomed coastal area.
Of the minuses: you can have a bite to eat on Pai Plong only in a cafe or hotel restaurant. The cost of food and drinks there is very high.
3. Klong muang
Klong Muang Beach one of the best beaches in Krabi. Beautiful, well-groomed, strewn with white sand, it, oddly enough, does not attract many people. The luxurious Sheraton Hotel is located nearby, so the coastal zone is carefully monitored, cleaned and sand is sifted. Here you can always find accommodation for every taste and budget, even in the high season. Klong Muang Beach is ideal for families with children: there is a calm clear sea, a smooth gentle slope to the water, many small coniferous trees growing along the coast and providing shade.
Of the minuses: few inexpensive rooms and budget cafes.
2. Tonsai
The best beaches in Krabi include Tonsai Beach.
This is the most interesting of all the beaches located on the Railay Peninsula. There is clean clear water and good sand. The beach was chosen by young people, outdoor enthusiasts and backpackers. Some of them prefer to spend the night right on the beach in tents. Rock climbing is possible on Tonsai. This beach is a real Mecca for climbers.
Of the minuses: Tonsai belongs to wild beaches, so no one monitors its condition. All cafes, shops, bungalows and other recreational facilities are located in the interior of the peninsula.
1. Nopparat Tara
The best beaches in Krabi include Nopparat Tara. It is located next to the more famous Ao Nang beach. Five hundred meters separate them. Nopparat Tara is a calm and sparsely populated beach, where locals prefer to relax. The sea in the southern part of the beach is shallow, in the northern part it is deeper. The infrastructure of Nopparat Thara is not very developed, as there are few tourists here.
