  • cottage cheese contains a daily dose of calcium, and this element is necessary for strong nails, bones, teeth and for blood clotting;
  • the protein in the composition is a building material, and phosphorus is responsible for the strength of the bone apparatus, teeth and nails;
  • the product is useful for the gastrointestinal tract, heart and kidneys, it promotes hematopoiesis and an increase in hemoglobin;
  • cottage cheese is a meat substitute due to the content of useful amino acids in the composition;
  • fermented milk product is suitable for weight loss and for cleansing the body.

The fat-free fermented milk product will not bring harm. It should not be eaten only by people with individual intolerance or allergy to cow’s milk protein.

The optimal daily rate of a non-fat fermented milk product is about 250 g. In order not to harm your health, you should not eat more than 400 g per day. Eating more will clog the liver channels.

Cottage cheese cannot completely replace fatty dairy products or become the only dietary meal. The body needs polyunsaturated fats, which are found in fatty cottage cheese. Without these substances, health problems can arise.

If you are watching your figure, you do not have to go on strict diets. Include only low-calorie foods in your diet and diversify your menu with low-fat cottage cheese dishes. It contains a large amount of protein, which is an important building block.
