How to catch a bat in an apartment
If a bat flies into the house, the first thing to do is to try not to panic. After all, she is as much a living creature as, for example, a squirrel or a hedgehog in the forest. Despite the fact that the bat has an unattractive appearance, it does not pose any danger to humans. In order for the meeting with this animal to end happily for you and for him, follow the following recommendations.
It is best not to touch the bat that has fallen on the balcony, but simply open wide open all the windows on the loggia.
As a rule, bats enter a person’s home by accident. In the dark, they can fly to the light coming from the windows or just to a light object. On the balcony, clothes that have been hung to dry after washing can serve as a “beacon”. If the bat flew into the apartment, then to expel it, you need to use a small towel or box. Do not try to chase a lost animal around the room with a mop or whisk. Doing so will only scare the mouse, and since it makes unpleasant sounds, you will most likely become confused yourself.
A mouse sitting peacefully on the wall can be gently taken with a towel and released. This must be done quickly, otherwise you can frighten off the guest and then you will have to wait for her to calm down and land in another place.
The best way to get rid of the bat at home is with a box. We also imperceptibly approach the animal, close it with a box, and push a cardboard or thin magazine into the gap between the wall and the box. Thus, the mouse will be closed, and you can safely release it.
A bat at home does not bode well for its owners. Of course, there are signs according to which a bat can be a harbinger of serious illness, loss and other misfortunes.
