The anti-acne gel series is disappearing from pharmacies

The Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate withdrew from the market the preparation used in the treatment of acne. What was the reason for the recall?

The Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate decided to withdraw the medicinal product Klindacin T, gel, 10 mlg / g, product batch number 3041114 and expiry date: 11.2016, nationwide.

The decision was made immediately enforceable.

The entity responsible is Tarchomińskie Zakłady Farmaceutyczne Polfa SA

The Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate received the MAH’s own decision to withdraw the given batch of Klindacin T from the market due to exceeding the permissible level of the highest single pollutant determined by the HPLC method.

Klindacin T is indicated for acne vulgaris and other skin infections caused by bacteria sensitive to clindamycin.
