Waking up in the middle of the night, judgments about the way in which you bring up your children, difficulties in finding time to eat, shower, do housework… The first moments in the company of baby are generally not easy!
On the occasion of the launch of a formula for young parents, the Uber Eats service conducted a survey of 2 young fathers and young mothers about the most stressful things since the birth of their baby. The latter believe thatIt took them almost a year after the birth of their baby to begin to relax and feel good about their parenting role.
More than half of those polled (54%) were worried about not eating properly and enough in the first six months after the birth of their baby. Yet, as Hannah Richards, nutrition expert at Uber Eats, rightly points out, diet is very important for new mothers after childbirth, so they can regain their strength.
More than three quarters of young parents surveyed also expected more support from family and friends, especially for cooking and cleaning, babysitting, or simply keeping company.
