The tomato

Rich in vitamins A, B3, B6, C, E, K, copper, manganese and potassium, the tomato is one of the best vegetables for our body.

It is also rich in lycopene, an antioxidant that contributes to the prevention of certain cancers, in particular that of the prostate [1], [2].

On the other hand, a large-scale study conducted among women showed that the more they consumed tomato-based products, the more they reduced their risk of cardiovascular disease[3].
