Tequila Kazadores: description and types

About tequila Cazadores

Tequila Casadores – forty-degree drink, 100% consisting of blue agave distillate.

Cazadores is Spanish for hunters. Thus, the premium tequila of the same name with the appropriate deer on the label can be safely called “Hunter’s”.

In addition to the use of authentic pre-industrial ovens for steaming agave “cones”, in the production of Okhotnichnaya, according to the manufacturer, the method of double fermentation, which is not typical for tequila, is used, as well as the double distillation of the resulting mash, which is natural in such cases.

Then, if necessary, the young distillate is aged in small new branded barrels made of American White Oak.

Of course, a drink made in this way is a very expensive pleasure.

However, it deserves to be tried at least once.

A bit of history of the Cazadores brand

Now it is difficult to say what prompted the creator of the brand, a Mexican farmer: José Maria Banuelos, to choose a deer as a symbol of his drink.

Perhaps the newly minted tequillero, who selflessly spent all his property on the purchase of an agave plantation in 1922, was forced to feed for the sake of hunting for handsome horned men roaming around his home /

Perhaps the farmer’s aesthetic preferences played a decisive role.

It is also possible that the deer got on the Cazaradores label as a symbol of the Los Altos area, where the distillery producing the drink is located to this day; or José María simply thought that the tequila he created was especially good for venison.

But the main thing is not this. Tequila with deer is loved and in demand. It is one of the top five best-selling agave distillates.

And despite the fact that in the end this brand became the property of the Bacardi house, it continues to be made according to the original secret recipe created at the time by the founder of the company.
