Coronavirus in Poland – 1,2 million per patient

There are currently 420 patients infected with coronavirus in temporary hospitals – such information was obtained by the Health Policy service from the Ministry of Health. It follows that a few percent of the beds in these institutions are occupied. In provincial hospitals, the Ministry of Interior and Administration hospital at the National Stadium and the Ministry of National Defense hospital in Okęcie, about 6 are available. beds.

The most important of the covid hospitals is the one located at the National Stadium, which is a branch of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. According to the data of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariffs, the monthly total cost of running the National Hospital is PLN 21,6 million, of which the management cost is PLN 624,4 thousand. zloty.

This is due to the very high rates that apply there. In November, MEP Bartosz Arłukowicz presented a document which showed that the National Hospital receives more than 1000 zł, for hospitalization with the participation of a respirator 4321 zł, and for the readiness of one bed per day – 822 zł.
