Features of Teka models

The manufacturer took care of protecting the PMM case from leakage. All machines of the Teka range are equipped with a full or partial Aquastop.

Complete protection provides for the presence of a sensor in the sump, which sends a signal to the main module about leakage. As a result, the water supply is blocked. Additionally, a hose with a sponge inside is connected. If water flows out, the sponge swells and blocks the flow.

Partial “Aquastop” includes only a mechanical hose without a sensor.

All machines have indicators on the panel. They light up as soon as in the department running out of salt or rinse aid. Therefore, the user knows when to add a remedy.

Technology is not immune to breakdowns. The modern diagnostic system quickly finds the problem and displays the fault code on the display. You can find the value in the instruction manual or in the table below.

As soon as you notice a malfunction, try resetting the code. It may be a system failure. To do this, unplug the machine from the network for 15-20 minutes, then reconnect.

I used to use Bosch appliances, so I have something to compare with. Teka is not very satisfied with the work. There are “dead zones” in the bunker where the dishes are not washed. Sprayers are simply not designed to cover the entire area. But it worked until a breakdown arose – the pump jammed. I barely found a service center, repairs are very expensive, so it’s easier to buy a new machine, but definitely not of this brand.

Built-in full-size PMM. Will wash 14 in one cycle sets of dishes. Energy class – A ++, during normal operation, 0,93 kW per hour is consumed. Water consumption is 11 liters.

On the electronic panel, you can set 8 programs, among which there are normal, delicate, quick wash, pre-soak. Half load: no need to wait for enough dirty dishes to accumulate. With ½ load, you can save on resource consumption. Delayed start is possible up to 24 hours.

Built-in turbidity sensor. It determines the degree of purity of the water, on which the number of rinses depends. Complete leakage protection.

I decided to buy a Teka dishwasher, because I already had a hob of this brand. Very satisfied with the purchase. Clear installation instructions, good capacity.

There are symbols on the panel, so choosing a mode is not difficult. The keys are located at the end of the door.

I usually choose a cycle duration of 90 minutes. Just the dishes are well washed, including pots and pans. Drying – condensation. It’s better not to take out the appliances right away, otherwise it will spray with hot steam. I take it out half an hour after completion.

The cutlery basket is never completely filled, roomy. Containers slide out smoothly thanks to these wheels. I recommend this model to everyone! The result will please you.

The machine, measuring 59,6x55x82 cm, can be fully integrated into a kitchen set. One load can wash 12 sets of dishes. Water consumption is 12 liters, and electricity – 1,05 kW per hour. The reduced noise level of 45 dB allows you to run the dishwasher at night.

10 programs are provided:

• Regular, intensive and express wash.
• Economy mode.
• Pre-soak.
• ½ load.
• Delayed start from 1 to 24 hours.
• Turbo dryer. The model has an additional heater and fan. The latter distills hot air in the chamber and dries the instruments.

At the time of purchase, Teka DW8 60 FI did not find any negative reviews. Photos on the Internet pleased. But in practice, everything turned out to be not so colorful. The equipment does not wash dishes well, it makes noise, stains remain on the plates. And dried-on dirt is not completely removed even on a long program.

I’ve already changed pills, conditioner – nothing helps. The top holders in the basket are constantly coming off the hooks, while the plates are falling on top of each other. After contacting the service, it turned out that everything was working properly, the rest was the features of the dishwasher. This is probably why it is difficult to find reviews on the PMM of this brand. I do not advise to buy this misunderstanding.
