Tears under the microscope — this project came up with the American photographer Rose-Lynn Fisher (Rose-Lynn Fisher).
For several days she … cried for a variety of reasons. And I photographed my tears at high magnification. As a result, she has gathered a collection of whimsical patterns, similar to the paintings of avant-garde artists *. But then the photographer was waiting for the discovery: the structure of the lacrimal fluid differed depending on the reason for which she had to cry. It turned out that tears of happiness, joy, laughter look different than tears of impotence, fatigue or sadness. What is behind this feature? Perhaps each of our states and experiences has its own unique formula, which is imprinted in the products of the biological processes of our body? If this is so, then the concept of the “formula of happiness” can find a concrete embodiment.
