Still don’t know what to do in February?… This is how the new edition of the Route of the Tapa of the Malagueña town of Vélez.
From February 6 to March 1, the fourth edition of this gastronomic contest will be held, which will bring together the creations of 15 hospitality establishments in the town.
The Velez-Malaga Merchants and Entrepreneurs Association (ACEV) and the local council sponsor and promote the event to seek the dynamization of commercial activity and more specifically in this case to promote consumption in the hospitality premises of the municipality.
Simplicity and creativity together to be able to offer the visitor for the price of € 2 a tapa and a consummation.
Participants’ Specialties will tour the town with crumbs, hamburgers, trapantojos, etc …
The citizens and visitors of the town on those days will participate not only by tasting and tasting the excellent bites of each establishment but also by contributing their opinion and registration of participation through the “Tapaporte”. Accreditation card and at the same time, guide of the schedules and dishes of each place.
All those who stamp in the fifteen establishments, will be included in a raffle of € 500, in local vouchers to consume. and those who only exceed the equator, 8 stamps, will be included in Pot B to qualify for a prize of € 250.
