On June 16, the V edition of the El Tapa World Day , an initiative of the Taste Spain Association that currently groups around twenty tourist destinations, and its managing body is made up of five entities closely related to gastronomy and culinary creation, the Spanish Hospitality Federation (FEHR), the Spanish Association of Destinations for the Promotion of Gastronomic Tourism, the Paradores Company, the European organization of chefs (Eurotoques) and the Federation of Cooks and Pastry chefs of Spain (Facyre).
In the act of presentation of this new edition of the gastronomic event, the first study of characteristics of this culinary format will be announced, in which the importance of the tapa, its moments of consumption, regional differences, the most popular tapa will be analyzed. consumed….
The last edition of World Tapa Day was in September, and this change was made to achieve an improvement in the participation and dissemination of the event, as well as its international participation.
