The Autumn Edition of the Castellón Flavors Tapas Route will be presented in society on October 17 at the facilities of the Castellón University Center for Culinary Management (GASMA)
A thousand flavors, a city. This is the official motto for the gastronomic leisure event of the city “de la Plana”.
The Castellón Flavors Tapas Route It has been sponsored since its inception by the municipal council of the city, through its Department of Tourism, the provincial tourism board and the provincial council, all under the umbrella of the Castellón brand, Ruta del Sabor.
The official supplier for this edition is the Central Market of Castellón, which provides all the necessary content for the elaborations of the participating establishments, which from October 20 to November 13 cook and serve the snacks that are given in the event.
A wide sample of locals in the city, exceeding the emblematic number of 50, join this autumn 2016 edition, substantially expanding not only the participants, but also the geographical area of the Tapas Route, reaching the maritime district of Grao of Castellón.
The hospitality industry turns to the Ruta del Sabor
As in previous editions of the Castellón Flavors Tapas Route, the participating catering establishments will offer the visitor two tapas made with local products, at a unit price of € 3 including the drink.
More than 100 different tapas that fill with flavor and good taste a gastronomic conference that not only collaborates with passenger cars, but also generates employment, business activity and, above all, promotion of local and proximity products that are assigned under the Castellón, Ruta brand. of Flavor.
Format Tapas Route and contest, is still in force, and in this 6th edition, it will have a new Gastronomic Committee of Experts, which has given its approval to the participation of the locals, and that during it will visit the premises to assess the elaborations that each of them and deliberate a posteriori to the best culinary elaborations.
Gastronomy and music in one place.
From the city to El Grao the culinary and gastronomic activity is combined with the interesting musical proposal that for the occasion has been decided to complement the activities of the Castellon Flavors Tapas Route.
Two concert sessions are planned, which will take place on Thursday October 23 and November 3 with the participation of musical groups from the city, on the stage set up for the occasion of Plaza de la Paz.
