Today begins the Route of Tapas and music Devora Malasaña – Chueca 2014
During the next ten days, the traditional neighborhoods of Malasaña and Chueca, celebrate a gastronomic and leisure event that adorns the locals attached to it with a combination of gastronomy and a desire for fun.
Until June 22, different bars, cafes and restaurants in the district will offer a beer and a tapa for € 2,20.
As we are in a neighborhood where the desire for fun and the influx of the public extends until the wee hours of the morning, during this edition the nightclubs have been encouraged to participate, offering where appropriate the enjoyment of live music in some cases or the masterful performance of trendy DJs, all accompanied by the possibility of consuming “a third of beer” for € 3, and of course the entrance to the premises …
The activities are completed with the participation of the attendees and diners of the assigned premises, collaborating in the contest and subsequent raffle that accompanies the event.
The prize for the “Popular Tapa” will be chosen by voting on the event website, entering the code of letters and numbers obtained when consuming.
Participants may, apart from voting on the web through the “Trivitapa game”, be awarded one of the gifts, such as tablets, chargers, and others …, which will be raffled at the end of the event.
This event has been promoted by the Association of “La Viña”, the Economy and Employment Area of the Madrid City Council and the Mahou company, to help and collaborate in the revitalization of the hospitality sector in the city.
The official presentation will take place at Défilé Café (Fernando VI, 27) today June 12 and will be carried out by chef Juan Pozuelo. It will also be enlivened by the artists Txetxu Altube and Rafa Gutiérrez from the group Hombres G with a musical composition made expressly for the occasion.
All the details of establishments, the schedules and the creations that each one presents, can be seen on the web created for the aforementioned occasion, and through social networks the possibility of interacting in the hashtag #DevoraMalaChueca.
