Tanzania under the watchful eye of the WHO
Tanzania is under the target of the World Health Organization because of its liberal approach to the pandemic. The country’s president, John Maguful, insists there is no COVID-19 problem in his country. As of April 2020, the Tanzanian Ministry of Health has not updated data on the infected and deaths of the coronavirus, despite warnings from the WHO. In July 2020, Maguful announced the end of the pandemic in Tanzania. He also emphasized that the country had been healed by God. In turn, the Minister of Health, Dorothy Gwajima, in the fight against COVID-19, recommended water inhalation, herbal medicine and taking care of hygiene. Tanzania is one of two countries that do not intend to vaccinate their citizens.
