Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P are used to treat symptoms associated with inflammation of the mouth and throat and after tooth extraction. The preparations effectively neutralize pain, minimize redness and swelling caused by viral and bacterial infections. Medicines are in the form of hard lozenges and are available without a prescription.

Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P are recommended:
- in the treatment of symptoms related to inflammation of the mouth and throat,
- in the treatment of a condition after tooth extraction.
Drug dosage
Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P are in the form of lozenges. Take the medicine by mouth.
- Suck 1 lozenge 3-4 times a day.
Tantum lemon and Tantum green P products
Contraindications to the use of Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P are:
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- fenyloketonuria.
Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P – restrictions on the drug
- Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P do not contain sugar, the sweetening agent is aspartame.
- Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance should not take the drug due to the content of isomalt.
- People with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should not take the preparation.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma as there is a risk of bronchospasm.
- Too long treatment with Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P may cause an allergic reaction.
- A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist after 3 days of treatment.
- Do not give the preparation to children under 6 years of age.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the preparation.

Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P – side effects
Taking Tantum lemon and Tantum Verde P preparations may cause the following side effects:
- prickling or tingling sensation
- skin damage as a result of photosensitivity,
- burning sensation or dry mouth
- hypersensitivity reactions,
- very rarely laryngospasm,
- angioedema.
