Mandarin liqueur is bright orange in color with a rich taste and aroma.
For the preparation of liquor, tangerines of any variety are suitable, and as an alcohol base, you can use vodka, food alcohol or high-quality odorless moonshine.
Mandarin vodka liqueur
Ingredients
Tangerines – 700 g
Vodka – 500 ml
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp l.
Sugars – 250 g
Water – 300 ml
Vanillin – 1 pinch
Method of preparation
Scald tangerines with boiling water, and then rinse well under running water to get rid of the wax that covers the fruit to extend the shelf life.
We cut the tangerines into circles 1 cm thick and transfer them to a glass jar.
Add vanillin to fruits and pour vodka. We insist a week in a dark place.
After 7 days, we filter the tincture, during which time it has become a rich orange color.
We cook the basic sugar syrup with the addition of lemon juice.
After it cools, mix with tangerine tincture.
Before tasting, we insist another week in a cool dark place.
Original tangerine liqueur
Ingredients
Tangerines – 7 pcs.
Alcohol (45%) – 500 ml
Cinnamon stick – 1 pc.
Water – 150 ml
Granulated sugar – 100 g
Method of preparation
We repeat point 1 from the first recipe.
Remove the zest from the prepared fruit in a way convenient for you and transfer it to a glass container. And we put the pulp in a bag and send it to the refrigerator.
Add cinnamon, an alcohol base to the zest and insist for a week in a warm place.
After 7 days, we filter the tincture.
Then we squeeze out the tangerine juice and cook a simple sugar syrup using citrus juice.
After the tangerine syrup has cooled, mix it with the tincture and bottle it.
Before tasting, we keep the finished drink for 2 weeks in a cool place.
If a precipitate falls out, then the tangerine liqueur must be passed through the filter and you can start tasting.
Mandarin liqueur with orange peel
Ingredients
Tangerine juice – 1,5 cups
Orange zest – 2 oranges
Vodka – 200 g
Water – 100 ml
Sugar – 2/3 cup
Method of preparation
Pour tangerine juice into a saucepan, add grated orange zest and bring to a boil.
We mix the cooled citrus mix with an alcohol base and insist 3 days in a dark place.
After the right time has passed, we filter the citrus tincture.
Cook classic sugar syrup and cool to room temperature.
Mix syrup with tangerine-orange tincture.
Pour the finished liquor into a bottle and stand for 30 days in a dark place before tasting.
Alternative tangerine liqueur recipe
Ingredients
Vodka – 250 ml
Water – 50 ml
Sugars – 350 g
Medium tangerine – 15 pcs.
Lemon – 2 pcs.
Cinnamon pieces and cloves – to taste
Method of preparation
Wash the citrus fruits, wipe dry and use a thin knife to remove the top layer of the peel (without the white layer).
Chop the peel into strips, place in a large jar or bottle along with spices and pour vodka.
Well close, keep in a dark place for about 45 days.
Carefully drain the tincture, strain.
Prepare sugar syrup, cool, mix with tincture and pour into bottles. Store in a cool place.
Mandarin liqueur (peeled)
Ingredients
Mandarin – 15 pcs.
Lemon – 2 pcs.
carnation – 5-6 buds
Cinnamon – a pinch
Sugars – 850 g
Alcohol – 250 ml
Method of preparation
Wash the citrus fruits, wipe dry and use a thin knife to remove the top layer of the peel (without the white layer).
Thinly sliced tangerine peel, along with lemon peel, a small amount of cinnamon and cloves, lower into a bottle and pour alcohol.
After 5-6 weeks, strain this essence and mix with the cooled thick syrup made from 850 g of sugar.
Filter the liqueur and bottle it. Let stand at least 2 weeks. The drink is ready.
