Tangerine compote for the winter: recipes for making tangerine drinks from the peel and with additives

Mandarin is a tasty and healthy fruit with a wonderful aroma. In addition to eating fresh, you can cook many dishes and desserts from it. And you can also cook compote from tangerines. Citrus drink perfectly quenches thirst and fills the body with vitamins.

If the current year’s harvest was rich in tangerines, it is recommended to brew a fragrant drink to prevent their spoilage during storage. They can be enjoyed both in the sultry heat and in winter.

With the help of step-by-step recipes, tangerine compote can be prepared for a long winter.

In the multivariate

Now a multicooker is available in almost every home, it is easier than ever to cook tangerine compote in it. The fruits are used along with the peel.

Required:

  • tangerines – 8 pcs.;
  • granulated sugar – 1 glass;
  • water – 2 l.

Preparation:

  1. Scald fruits with boiling water. Wipe dry. Cleanse the skin.
  2. Cut the pulp into pieces of any shape.
  3. Chop the peel.
  4. Pour 1 liter of water into the multicooker, add sugar. Turn on the “Soup” mode.
  5. When the sugar dissolves, add the zest, cook for about 30 minutes.
  6. After adding the pulp of citrus peeled from the films, pour in the remaining liquid.
  7. Cook for another half hour.
  8. Pour the finished drink into jars. Roll up. Wrap up. 

“New Year”

To please and surprise friends at the New Year’s table, we recommend preparing this version of tangerine compote for the winter.

Ingredients for a three-liter jar:

  • tangerines – 1 kg;
  • sugar – 1 glass;
  • cinnamon – to taste;
  • water – 6 glasses. 

Method of preparation:

  1. Rinse fruits, peel, white films.
  2. Divide into slices.
  3. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar, cinnamon. Put on the stove.
  4. Bring the syrup to a boil.
  5. Arrange citrus slices in prepared jars. You can add a couple of crusts for flavor.
  6. Pour in hot syrup.
  7. Take a large container, put the jars for sterilization for 30 minutes.
  8. Roll up lids. Compote is ready!

With apples

Components:

  • Xnumx apples;
  • 1,5 cup of sugar;
  • 8 tangerines;
  • 1,5 liters of water 

How to cook:

  1. Remove the peel from the tangerines. Remove white veins and bones.
  2. Divide into slices.
  3. Rinse the apples, peel the skin. Cut out the core. Cut into sticks.
  4. Pour water into a large saucepan. Pour in sugar. Boil.
  5. Add apple slices, cook for 5-7 minutes, lay out tangerine slices.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes. 

To prepare such a compote for the winter, you need to pour it into sterilized containers, roll it up.

With ginger

The spicy aroma of ginger goes well with citrus fruits. It turns out a fragrant warming drink.

You will need: 

  • tangerines – 6 pcs.;
  • granulated sugar – 200 g;
  • water – 2 l;
  • fresh ginger root – 2 g. 

Step-by-step cooking:

  1. Remove skin from tangerines. Disassemble into pieces.
  2. Chop the zest into thin strips.
  3. Peel the ginger, chop.
  4. Take a small container, add sugar. Boil.
  5. Add zest and ginger to the syrup, cook for a quarter of an hour.
  6. Add citrus slices, boil for another 10 minutes.
  7. Compote is ready. 

Can be consumed freshly brewed or rolled up for the winter in sterilized jars. 

With dried fruits

Ingredients:

  • 300 g of dried fruits;
  • 3 tangerines;
  • 100 grams of sugar;
  • 2 L of water. 

Prepare as follows:

  1. Soak dried fruits in warm water.
  2. Rinse tangerines. Remove peel. Cut into rings.
  3. Pour water into a saucepan. Add sugar, dried fruits, mandarin rings.
  4. Bring to a boil, simmer for about half an hour.
  5. Pour into pre-prepared jars, roll up the lids. Flip. 

With wine

This drink is not suitable for children.

You need:

  • 200 g tangerines;
  • 5 Art. liter. sugar;
  • 500 ml of water;
  • 50 ml of wine. 

How to cook:

  1. Wash fruits. Remove skin and white film. Break into pieces.
  2. Fill the pan with water, put sugar, cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Cool the syrup, pour in the wine.
  4. Pour the tangerine pieces with the resulting solution.
  5. Bring the resulting mixture to a boil.
  6. Pour into banks. Screw on the lids. 

Peel option

You can cook compote using only tangerine peel.

Components:

  • tangerine peel – 1 kg;
  • granulated sugar – 8 tbsp. l .;
  • water – 3 l. 

Technology of preparation:

  1. Finely chop the tangerine peels.
  2. Pour boiling water, leave to infuse for 12 hours.
  3. Strain the mixture, pour the syrup into a saucepan, sweeten.
  4. Boil.
  5. Compote is ready! It remains only to roll up, put away for winter storage. 

Tangerines are associated not only with summer, but also with the New Year. Fruits are usually consumed fresh, but how nice it is to open a jar of fragrant compote for the festive table!
