Purpose: Reveal your child’s fears.
“One boy said to himself quietly, quietly: “How scary!” What is he afraid of?
Typical responses:
— behaved badly and is now afraid that he will be punished;
— soiled his pants and is afraid that his mother will scold him;
— afraid of the dark
— afraid of dogs
— not afraid of anything, just joking, etc.
Answers to watch out for:
— afraid of being stolen
— afraid of a monster who wants to steal it and eat it;
— afraid of being left alone;
— afraid of Baba Yaga;
— afraid that some animal will climb into the bed;
— afraid that a thief will come and stab him with a knife;
— afraid that mom (dad) will die, ”etc.
- When faced with such responses, you should ask additional, leading questions to get a more detailed description and explanation from the child of his fears.
